Description:

Paul McCartney sued The Beatles in 1970 to dissolve the partnership, primarily because he opposed the other members' decision to appoint Allen Klein as their new manager instead of his father-in-law, Lee Eastman. McCartney felt he had no choice but to legally end the partnership to protect the group's assets from what he perceived as Klein's mismanagement.
