Guttenberg Printing Press (jan 1, 1436 – jun 24, 1440)
Description:
Johann Gutenberg was the inventor of movable type somewhere between 1436-1440. This enabled the woodcut to become integrated with the text and this made the illustrated book a new art form. This made it easier to rapidly produce literature, rather than the lengthy process of copying it manually everytime.
