Description:
A U.S law that defined Cuba's post-Spanish-American war with the US, allowing them to
- intervene in Cuban affairs
- Restrict Cuban foreign affairs
- Lease land to the US for naval bases
- US investment totalled to 1.2 billion
- By 1923, US owned three-quarters of the sugar industry
