Boston Massacre (jan 1, 1770 – oct 1, 1770)
Description:
The Boston Massacre was the first time the British had truly acted out back at the colonists by firearm. Five people would die from the Boston Massacre and many others would be injured. This sparked outrage in the colonies, despite the colonists assaulting the British troops, telling them to shoot. Propaganda would quickly spread of the ordeal and further increase the tension between the colonists and Britain.
