Description:

The “Dumbass War” received its unusual name due to the perceived absurdity of its cause, at least from the perspective of the defenders. The conflict began when Daewe, one of the leaders of Bunsestan, attempted to review the statistics of OhioGlobus5404, the leader of Mountenaria. This was done to verify whether he had previously killed villagers from Bunsestan, whose settlements were highly developed and economically important. Although Daewe considered it more likely that Camera32, the leader of Germany, was responsible, believing he had stolen his beacon, he still wanted complete certainty. However, Ohio refused to share his statistics. From his perspective, the request itself was an insult, as it implied he was a suspect in the theft. He interpreted this as a direct accusation. The official version of events claims this reaction was justified, but in reality Ohio allegedly escalated the situation intentionally, as he was seeking a war.

The war officially broke out around 8:30 PM GMT+1, when Mountenaria declared war on Bunsestan. Mountenarian forces entered Bunsestan territory and looted significant amounts of resources. Soon after, InfinityZoom187 and his province Irenum became involved, not as combatants, but as server authorities. However, the rules of war were unclear, and it was not known that chunk protection was disabled for all provinces during wartime within the Inostropian Republic. As a result, chaos erupted. TrollMaster4478 joined Inostropia to assist Bunsestan, while additional loot was stolen from Mountenaria as the conflict spiraled out of control. Infinity attempted to restore balance by returning lost items and those unintentionally destroyed due to the misunderstanding of the mechanics, but this did not resolve the situation. Ohio, however, saw only one solution: a server rollback. To pressure Infinity into performing a backup, he destroyed Infinity’s residence in Inostropia City. Furious, Infinity carried out the backup but responded by banning Ohio and BVB got 1, who had supported Mountenaria and also participated in the destruction of his house, for one real-life week.

After the rollback was completed, Bunsestan and Mountenaria agreed to a white peace and restored the status quo ante bellum. The only lasting change was a new shared perception of a common enemy: Germany and Camera32. In response, both provinces formed an alliance against them.
