Description:
- He was Ashoka's son and grandson of Chandragupta. He was known for his patronage of Buddhism and construction of stupas
- Samprati Maurya (224 - 215 BCE): Another grandson of Ashoka, Samprati was known for his religious tolerance and promotion of Jainism.
- Shali Shuka (215 - 202 BCE): His reign marked the early decline of the Mauryan Empire.
- Devavarman Maurya (202 - 195 BCE): Known for his patronage of Buddhism.
- Shatadhanvan Maurya (195 - 187 BCE): His reign is marked by military campaigns against the Shunga dynasty.
