Description:

原姓邢，名沅，字圆圆，又字畹芳。年幼时父母双亡，由姨妈收养，姨夫姓陈，故改姓陈，居苏州桃花坞。明代歌妓、吴中名伶，精通琴棋书画，是“秦淮八艳”之一。有画作《陈圆圆墨竹图》真迹传世，笔墨精妙，画如其人秀美，罕见而珍贵。
