Description:

性聪颖，八岁和父《早朝宫怨诗》，京师为之传诵，明万历廿五年（1597）补邑弟子，廿八年（1600）食廪。与山阴徐渭为忘年交，书法得渭指授，几与之埒，后究心佛经，屡试不偶，以廪生终。尝读书于诸暨苎萝山西竺庵，著有《苎萝山稿》、《四书简切讲义》、《自得斋稿》。
