French and Indian War (may 8, 1753 – feb 10, 1763)
Description:
War between British and French. French made allies with Indians.-Over territory dispute, prominently the Ohio River Valley. British were going into French territory.
-Ended with the treaty of Paris
(Part of the 7yr war)
-Indians joined the war effort bc it was the only way for them to maintain some autonomy and if one country had all the U.S. that would be bad... (yikes!)
