Berlin Blockade/Airlift (jun 24, 1948 – may 12, 1949)
Description:
The Berlin Blockade was when Stalin closed the borders to East Germany. In response, the British and US flew food and coal into Berlin. Although the USSR tried to cut of East Berlin from the West, they were still able to get the resources they needed an built a better relationship with the West.
