Description:

The Vietnam war was a very long conflict between communist north vietnam, supported by the soviet union and China, and the non communist South vietnam, supported by the U.S. It was deeply rooted in the cold war, as it was a battle between communist and non communist forces. This war led to heavy losses on all sides, and was deeply unpopular in the U.S. It led to large anti war movements, and an overall decline in the trust of government.
