Berlin Blockade Airlift (jun 24, 1948 – may 12, 1949)
Description:
In order to counter Stalin's blockade on Berlin the United States and allies commenced an airlift that would bring resources into Berlin, winning the hearts of the Germans and of the German kids by giving them candy. The airlift was successful and in a little less than a year Joseph Stalin would lift the blockade defeated.Added to timeline:
