Description:
The Cuban Missile Crisis was when the Soviet Union sent nuclear missiles to be held in Cuba, similar to the United States Missiles in Turkey, both put Missiles of the enemies closer to striking distance of the United States and Soviet Union key cities. President John F. Kennedy responded by a blockade to prevent more missiles from being delivered. The conflict was resolved when The Soviet Union withdrew their missiles from Cuba and The United States theirs from Turkey. The whole crisis was the closets the world came to nuclear war.
