Third Anglo-American War (jul 10, 1871 – mar 20, 1874)

Description:

Following an American ultimatum to retreat from the Campeche territory or face hostilities, the United States invaded the May Protectorate in July of 1871. The goal of the war was officially to reconquer the Military territory of Campeche, however the war goal soon shifted to ending British colonies in all of Central America [Including British Honduras, the Colony of the Bay Islands, and the Mosqutio Kingdom]

With Guatemala and the various protectorates of the United States joining in the war, the war was hard fought. However, following the effective blockade of the Union in the early years, as well as reinforcements arriving in 1873, the Union entered negotiations, wherein they signed the Treaty of Port Royal in March 1874.
