Description:
The Hyksos conquer all of lower Egypt from their capital city of Avaris and establish the 15th dynasty of Egypt.-They were of mixed levant origins with likely candidates being Canaanites, Amorites, and Hurians
-Compact bows, chariots, and bronze working were all introduced to the Egyptians by the Hyksos
-Hyksos is believed to be an Egyptian word for ruler of foreign lands, not necessarily a distinct people group from the Levant
-The Hyksos rise to power is shrouded in mystery
