Council of Nicaea Daniel 7:25 (jan 1, 325 – dec 31, 325)

Description:

Dan 7:25  And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. 

The Importance of the Council of Nicaea:
The First Council of Nicaea was convened by Emperor Constantine to address the Arian controversy (a theological dispute over the nature of Christ), and it produced the Nicene Creed, which affirmed the doctrine of the Trinity and the full divinity of Jesus Christ.

The council also helped to establish the primacy of the bishop of Rome, though the papacy's authority would continue to evolve over the following centuries.
