Palestinian Revolt (apr 19, 1936 – aug 26, 1939)
Description:
In response to the British breaking their promise to establish an independent Arab state, Palestianians revolt against their rule.
This conflict results in the deaths of around 5,000 Palestinian Arabs and 500 Jews, and much of the Palestinian leadership being forced into exile. Great Britain also decides to reduce Jewish immigration to Palestine.
