Description:

Garrett: "Good morning, am I speaking to someone from WEVC?"

WEVC-TV: "Yes, good morning to you, too. How may I help you?"

Garrett: "Last night I left the television on after the broadcast had ended. The static helps me fall asleep, I guess. I was tuned in to WEVC at the same time, and I dozed off as usual. However, I think it was around 3 AM, the static changed to a low humming sound, and it must've woken me up. To my surprise, something was airing. What I saw was a very bizzare program. I hadn't changed the channel or anything, I was still on WEVC. I started recording because it was frankly so weird that I had to make sure I wasn't dreaming."

WEVC-TV: "What was your name?"

Garrett: "Garrett Jones."

WEVC-TV: "Well, Mr. Jones, I can assure you that the station was not on air at that time last night, but could you describe what you saw? This could be a case of television hijacking, which we would need to report to the authorities."

Garrett: "Yeah, the program was called something like Deep Night. It was talking about some kind of growths that were forming holes around town. It seemed like a strange prank to me."

WEVC-TV: "Thank you. If you have the tape, do you mind dropping it off at the station? It will serve as evidence for authorities to track down the culprit."

Jones: "Certainly, I can drop it off later today."

WEVC-TV: "Thank you, Mr. Jones, for your cooperation. Please refrain from speaking about this incident publicly while the case is ongoing."
