Description:
Charles VI of France hosted a famous celebration for the queen’s attendant’s wedding. Highly flammable outfits were worn to represent feral men, which later caught on fire. While Charles VI survived, many others suffered from the fire (“Masquerade Balls- Brief History & Key Facts,” n.d.).
