Battle of the Bulge (Dec 6, 1944 - Jan 25, 1945) When the Allies freed France and defeated Germany at Normady thought war was coming to end. Germany launched attack, but US fought back and kept Germany army from overrunning Europe. The battle took place in Ardennes Forest of Belgium. (dec 3, 1944 – dec 3, 1944)
