WW2 in Asia (jul 7, 1937 – sep 2, 1945)

Description:

It is said to had begun because of the Second Sino-Japanese War between China and Japan, and China's growing nationalism was seen as a threat to the progression of Japan in Manchuria. Japan was othered and very dependent on foreign goods, such as oil, along with being bordered by colonies of other countries around them. Japan's main goal at the time was to acquire resources to free their dependence from the West. They strived for liberation and "Asia for Asians," but it was more for resources than liberation.
