Description:

字伯奇，京兆长陵（今陕西咸阳）人。好经学，师事博士焦永，号称名儒。
初为郡吏，太守被诛，他不怕治罪，坚持尽丧礼。又任功曹，主持选举公道。和帝时官至尚书仆射。外戚窦宪专权，他不畏权势，屡次劾奏其党后辞官归乡，
和帝永元三年（91年），被窦宪迫害而死。
