Edwin Hubble 1889 1.) He determent that there are other galaxies in the universe beyond the milky way. 2.) His observation was that things farther away from earth were moving away faster witch meant the universe must be expanding. 3.) He formulated Hubble's law (jan 1, 1889 – mar 25, 1896)
