春秋时卫国朝歌人。卫国公族卫昭伯与宣姜所生次女，长大后嫁给许国许穆公，故称许穆夫人。 [1]她不仅是中国文学史上见于记载的第一位爱国女诗人，也是世界文学史最早的爱国女诗人，其诗作在世界文学史上都享有极高声誉。
