Description:
Lucy Stone, Julia Ward Howe, and Thomas Wentworth Higginson created AWSA after disagreeing with NWSA's ways and forceful tactics. This created a split between the suffragists, become a turning point in leadership as well as others at home choosing who to 'follow' (Women's Suffrage 19th Amendment).
