The Jim Crow laws were laws that were used in some of the southern states. The "Jim Crow Laws" said that there should be segregation on all public areas. This included public transport, school and public parks. The laws stated that all races should be treated the same. However in the laws it was a lot of discrimination towards the "blacks".
