Description:
The U.S. dropped the first atomic bomb, called "Little Boy," on Hiroshima, Japan, during World War II. The bomb was released from a plane named Enola Gay and killed around 140,000 people, with many more dying later from radiation and injuries. This was done to force Japan to surrender and end the war, and it was followed by a second bomb on Nagasaki three days later.
