Vratislav's Invasion of Hungary (aug 30, 1069 – mar 3, 1084)
Description:
Vratislav invaded Hungary to install his son to the throne. Also he promised the Holy Roman Emperor a crown for a crown. After many a couple of battles, Vratislav sieged Heves and captured the young King of Hungary and forced him to sign that Vratislav's son is the legitimate King of Hungary, and so it was. Vratislav's son was later dethroned by Géza Duke of Slovakia. Géza was no friend of the Pope and granted Vratislav a claim on Hungary it self. And so in 1076 he invaded Hungary again to take it back for himself. He went on a rampage, imprisoning nobles, sacking cities.
