Marshall Plan (enacted) (apr 1, 1948 – jan 1, 1952)
Description:
The Marshall plan was a plan put forth to send economic aid to the Many capitalist countries in Europe, who were economically struggling financially. The U.S. sent 12 billion total dollars worth of aid. It was enacted on April 1st, 1948, and ran until the end of 1952. This may have saved millions and millions of people from falling into the hands of Soviet Russia and Communist rule.
