The Government of India act (jan 1, 1935 – jan 1, 1935)
Description:
The Government articulated three goal after the Roundtable conferences: establishing a loose federal structure, (meaning there'd be a bicameral legislature with a ruling party and opposition party, as we have today) achieving provincial autonomy, (each province would have its own government of elected representatives that worked under the central government) and communal electorates. However, most Indians still did not have the right to vote.
