Description:
This is the time period when what we in modern time could call "Proto-Indo-European" or PIE was spoken. This language has been theorized and reconstructed by comparing its descendants and applying historical linguistic theory. This language would go on to develop into many different language families represented by languages as diverse as for example English, Farsi, Italian, Russian and Hindi.
