Typhoon Yunya (jun 11, 1991 – jun 17, 1991)
Description:
Typhoon Yunya began to develop on jul 11th and approached to Luzon, Philippines. By jul 13th typhoon yunya was declared to be a category 3 typhoon. Typhoon Yunya caused heavy rain across the philippines which also caused many floods. Typhoon Yunya did not directly affect the eruption although it contributed to the destruction at the time. On july 15th Typhoon Yunya struck the philippines causing the death of 320 people and having over 10,000 people evacuated. Over 2,000 homes were destroyed on the day of the event.Added to timeline:
