一作慕容望，昌黎郡棘城县（今辽宁省义县）人，西燕第五位皇帝，前燕景昭帝慕容儁之孙，西燕主慕容冲之子。
386年，慕容恒立慕容瑶为帝，改年号为建平。后慕容永抓获并杀掉了慕容瑶，立慕容泓的儿子慕容忠为帝。
