Description:

字伯业，汝南汝阳（今河南商水西南）人，是袁绍的从兄。
初为长安令，后任山阳太守。初平元年，与袁术、袁绍等人共同起兵讨伐董卓。
扬州刺史陈温去世后，袁遗奉袁绍之命领扬州事，遭袁术攻击，败逃沛国，被士兵杀害。
