Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act (jan 4, 1975 – aug 7, 1975)

Description:

Directs the Secretary of the Interior, at the request of a tribe, to contract with any tribal organization to carry out the services and programs the Federal Government provides to Indians. Provides for contracts between the Secretary of the Interior and States or Indian tribes to assist local school districts in educating Indian children. An act that provides peace in life and education for the Indian Community.
