Description:
15 men and women (black and white) boarded a bus in Washington, D.C. headed towards New Orleans to celebrate the 7th anniversary of the Brown v. Board of Education. Well doing so they faced violence, jail time, and the bombing of buses. This led to around 400 people joining in the Freedom Rides movement.
