Description:

字子尼，陈留考城 人。晋朝时期大臣，丞相蔡谟之父。
年少好学，博涉书记，个性公亮。起家为大将军记室督迁丞相为东曹掾，辅佐成都王司马颖。八王之乱后，辞官归家。东嬴公司马腾为车骑将军，举为从事中郎。
永嘉元年，为汲桑所攻，城陷遇害，著有文集二卷。
