The United States orders the strategic bombing of communist insurgents throughout the Kingdom of Laos, which is still to this day the most bombed country in the world per capita. 2 million tons of bombs are dropped and many are left undetonated, leaving many Laotion citizens continue to be maimed or killed today from leftover ordinances.Added to timeline:
