Description:
The Colosseum is a massive structure in Rome originally used for “blood sports” such as gladiatorial games, animal hunting, and various executions. Construction for the Colosseum began somewhere around 70-72 CE and finished construction in 80 CE. Currently, the Colosseum still stands in disrepair after being affected mostly by earthquakes.Added to timeline:
