Boris Yeltsin (feb 1, 1931 – apr 23, 2007)
Description:
Was Secretary of Mosocw Committe of Communist Party, then Chairman of Russia's Supreme soviet. As Chairman he declared Russia sovereign and left the party on 12 June 1990. Was elected as Russia's first president in 1991 as power shifted from Gobachev in USSR to Yeltsin in Russia.
