Prince of Turov 1044?-1054Prince of Kiev 1054-1068
Ruled in a Triumvirate with his brothers (who controlled the south). Together they raged a struggle with the other Rurik princes in lateral lines.
He would loose & regain Kiev 2 times Between 1068-1077. First due to an uprising in Kiev after loosing a battle with the Tartars.
