Description:
The Columbian Exchange mainly took place during the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries. The columbian exchange was the exchange of culture and animals and plants between the new world and the old world, aka europe and the americas. The exchange brought great cultural and biological change to both continents. Disease brought to the new world wiped out many native populations. Culture and cuisine changed drastically, with the introduction of new foods.
