Cynebald Usurpation (18h 45min, jan 14, 2025 y – jan 18, 2025)

Description:

Cynebald was a Talarak nobleman who declared himself King in the northwest of Inostropia, initiating a war against King Vorhees3709 and the Inostropian government. He and his followers established a base at Castel de Monte and remained there, without launching further offensives or completing their planned takeover. One possible explanation for this behavior was that Cynebald may have been seeking a diplomatic resolution. On the final day of the usurpation, King Vorhees3709 and InfinityZoom187 traveled to meet him in an attempt to negotiate. Cynebald offered a proposal: if he were made King of Inostropia and his people were allowed to live within the country, peace would be ensured. However, Vorhees rejected this demand in order to preserve his own authority. Cynebald remained unconvinced and warned them that they would need to return soon for a final confrontation. However, due to delays, several hours passed before any action resumed. When Vorhees and Infinity finally returned in the early evening, they launched an assault on Castel de Monte, where the remaining Talarak forces were stationed. What followed was a brutal massacre in which no Talarak survived except Cynebald himself, who managed to escape. The usurpation was effectively crushed.

Later, a senate meeting was held under the theme “Barbarians and How to Deal with Them.” The conclusion was extreme: all barbarian groups were to be eliminated, and none were to be integrated into Inostropian society under any circumstances. At the end of the meeting, Cynebald unexpectedly appeared. Realizing he could not survive alone in the wilderness, he surrendered by entering the parliament. He was subsequently imprisoned in the Inostropian state prison.
