The Quebec Referendum (1995): (oct 30, 1995 – oct 30, 1995)
Description:
In 1995, Quebec held a referendum asking if they should become an independent country. The opposing side won by a very small margin. This was significant because it showed that many people in Quebec still wanted independence and raised questions about the unity of Canada as a whole.
