Monkeys Began Dying Faster and USAMRID are Informed (nov 12, 1989 – nov 13, 1989)

Description:

By November 12th, the monkeys had begun to die at a higher rate, being at least three a day. Each of the monkeys who had died had extremely similar unusual findings in their autopsies. Suspicion had arisen that there was more happening than what was originally thought.

On the morning of November 13th, the Army branch, USAMRID, are informed of the ill monkeys and receives a meat sample of one of the monkeys later that day. The meat sample was shipped in poor quality and caused blood to be spilled, however, testing was able to be started regardless.
