Description:
The value of literature works was at an all-time high. Between 10,000-12,000 new words were coined.
William Shakespeare is said to have changed the English language more than any writer at the time. He coined roughly 2,000 words and many other phrases that are still in use.
Word order has become increasingly important and English had a complex system of auxiliary verbs.
Plural noun endings were progressing and the old verb endings were changing.
International trade brought new influences on vocabulary and terms to the English Language.
