Description:
There were some of the Ionian cities of Asia Minor against their Persian overlords. The cities deposed their own tyrants and tried to throw off Persian domination unsuccessfully with help from Athens. In fact, Athens and Eretria's support for the invasion angered the Persian King.Added to timeline:
