Malachi (jan 1, 450 BC – jan 1, 430 BC)

Description:

Unlike the book of Zechariah and Haggai, the book of Malachi calls out to the apathy of the Jewish people in regards to how they worship God. God calls out the priests for contempt by using lame or disease animals as a way to offer a sacrifice to Him. He calls out about the divorce between Him and the people of Judah and between each other. The book of Malachi also shows that God says that he will send a messenger in his name, that could be interpreted as Jesus’ coming and predicting Jesus’ death.
