Habakkuk (jan 1, 610 BC – jan 1, 586 BC)

Description:

In the book of Habakkuk, Habakkuk complains to God in asking him why he tolerates wrongdoing among the people and when will God set them straight from the ongoing violence. God responds with woes to Judah for they will be conquered by Babylonians, and Habakkuk complains about why they must be conquered by the Babylonians. God takes Habakkuk near the city walls and speaks to him about the right way to live is by living through faith while answering the consequences of going into worldly desires. Habakkuk learns to come to terms with God’s answers and sings a song about how he still fears the Babylonian’s invasion, but he will put his trust on God to get them through it.
