Description:
Period of decline in Greece following the collapse of the Mycenaean Civilization. During this time, Greece saw a loss of writing, reduced population, and a halt in monumental building. Trade and cultural exchange diminished, and many of the advances of the Bronze Age were forgotten. Theories of widespread famine exist, aligns with 3rd intermediate period.
